They routinely stick five past other Bundesliga sides, they've put the ball in the back of the opposition net 57 times by the middle of November, and judging by their training ground skills on YouTube they have no intention of slowing down.

Bayern Munich have been in scintillating form this season, winning 16 of 19 games in all competitons - averaging three goals per game - topping the German league and their Champions League group.

In a series of videos uploaded to the club's YouTube account, the secret to the success behind Pep Guardiola's astonishing side becomes abundantly clear.

THE TRAINING GROUND

Robert Lewandowski, Douglas Costa and Thiago Alcantara can be seen juggling the ball with precise close control and silky first-time touches.

The Polish star striker juggles the ball on his head, the Brazilian performs keepy-uppies and the Spaniard shows off his own flicks and tricks. 

Holland forward Arjen Robben even juggles the ball with his back as he messes about with Brazilian right back Rafinha.

Elsewhere they attempt to score direct from corner kicks by putting as much spin as possible on the ball.

Spaniard Javi Martinez is visibly delighted that his effort was caught on film while German World Cup winners Thomas Muller and Philipp Lahm look nonchalant as they finish the task with ease.

In a separate exercise Costa, Rafinha and Alcantara attempt to keep the ball off the ground as they volley it between each other from some 30 yards away.

The trio show off their vast array of chest control and skills with both feet.

With 11 wins from their 12 Bundesliga fixtures so far this season, Guardiola's men are five points clear of rivals Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table.

The supreme skills aren't limited to the outfield players either, with Manuel Neuer and his goalkeeping understudies Tom Starke, Sven Ulreich and Ivan Lucic getting in on the act.

German number one Neuer demonstrated his ability as the world's best sweeper-keeper with his silky touch and quick feet.
