She may be just 20 years old, but Kendall Jenner has already amassed an online following reaching tens of millions.

And yet this week, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star revealed that she chooses not to read her constant stream of social media comments to protect herself from the harsh words.

'No one will ever be perfect, so it's just stupid to put someone's face on a magazine cover saying, 'this is what you should look like,' she explained in an interview with News Corp.

'It's kind of my job but it's not real life. That's why I don't read my comments. I don't read anything of that nature,' the Victoria's Secret model went on. 

'So if you put yourself in that position you're, like, not going to be happy.' 

No doubt Kendall, whose clan was named America's 'First Family' by Cosmo Magazine USA earlier this year, receives a barrage of critique from both fans and non-fans on a daily basis.

Kendall and Kylie arrived in Australia on Tuesday to launch their clothing line in Sydney and Melbourne at department store Forever New.

The famous sisters caused quite the ruckus during their final appearance of the trip in a packed Melbourne shopping centre as they even caused some fans to faint, according to reports. 

Appearing on The Today Show, the pair gushed about their experience Down Under over the past two days, with Kendall spilling that she was forced to try a traditional Tim Tam because Kim 'obsesses' over them back in America.

'Kim talks about Tim Tams a lot, she loves Tim Tams,' she laughed. 

'I have always hated chocolate but just recently I discovered a little bit of a love for chocolate so I tried one on the plane here and it's so good.' 

After spending a short three days in Australia the pair jetted back to California on Thursday.
