MARK WEBSTER - EDGE OF THE BOX: Indeed, as you watch the new documentary film ‘Mr Calzaghe’, out on Monday on DVD and Blu-ray and digital download, you could easily be left asking yourself why it isn’t in fact entitled ‘Messrs Calzaghe’? Because this remarkable tale of the 46 and 0 man from Newbridge in Wales is very much the story of both father and son, who also happen to be trainer and fighter. That is its heart and soul. And that is what at the centre of this excellent film from director Vaughan Sivell. Of course, Joe’s incredible run of victories don’t exactly get in the way. But Sivell skilfully sets up the set piece moments with the emotional baselines that Sr and Jr deliver throughout.
