They do say blondes have more fun.

So Pascal Craymer was putting the fabled theory to the test as she coloured her dark locks to a stunning blonde shade at the Lisa G Studio hair salon in Essex on Friday night.

The former TOWIE star looked gleeful after she took the dramatic plunge to colour her once dark brown mane into a bouncy head of blonde hair.

Pascal, who briefly appeared in the ITVBe structured reality show in 2013, looked extremely proud as she exited the salon to show off her lighter locks.

After taking such a dramatic plunge from brunette to blonde, Pascal's hair was not quite a bright shade of gold but more of a strawberry blonde - perhaps due to the necessary gradual nature of transitioning dark locks.

After having her hair coloured by salon owner Lisa Gates, who Pascal joined in launching the store last month, her tresses were then styled into a stunning bouncy blow-dry.

The Miss-Southend-On-Sea 2010 victor looked casual yet sexy in her trip to the salon as she wore a funky monochrome shirt layered beneath a fur gilet.

She upped the sex appeal with a pair of racy PVC trousers while adding a teetering pair of heels to give her look even more glamour.

Clearly in the mood to be pampered, Pascal supped on a glass of champagne as she had her make-up applied by an in-house expert at the Waltham Abbey salon.

The made-up finish was stunning, permitting her natural good looks to shine through, as she wore just a delicate touch of foundation with a slick of lip gloss and well-applied smokey eyes.

The former Miss England finalist shot into the spotlight when she made a brief appearance on TOWIE as former cast member Mario Falcone's girlfriend.

During an interview in May on Lizzie Cundy and Mark Dolan's Hot Gossip FUBAR Radio show, Pascal admitted that she felt like ladies man Mario and the reality show had made a fool of her.

'When I went on the show it was completely new to me, I didn't have a clue. My life turned around overnight,' she explained. 'I thought me and Mario were going somewhere, so I had to let his fans know that he'd moved on [from his ex fiancee Lucy].

'I'd gone out with him for a little while, and suddenly it was everywhere – "She might be the one," "I want her to meet my parents."

'I was like, "Woah, this is all a bit crazy." And then trying to deal with the other people who were like: "He was with me last night at this PA… he was doing this.'''

Pascal and Mario soon split, and two years on Pascal admits she felt let down by both her ex and his reality show. 'It was so embarrassing,' she said.

'I got taken on [to TOWIE] thinking I was on it and in a relationship with someone and I literally got a custard pie to the face.'

'It wasn't breaking up with him [that was tough], it was more like: "I can't believe you've just done that to me on telly."'
