Zlatan Ibrahimovic has promised 'magic' after leading Sweden to Euro 2016 – but says the time has passed for him to deliver fireworks in the Premier League.

The 34-year-old PSG forward was in sensational form for Sweden on Tuesday night, scoring twice in a 2-2 draw with Denmark that gave his country a 4-3 aggregate win and prolonged his international career.

He famously said 'a World Cup without me is nothing to watch' after Sweden failed to qualify for the 2014 tournament in Brazil.

When asked about his significance to Euro 2016, he told Sportsmail: 'It will be magic for everyone. And it will be a big magic for me to be there.

'I am looking forward to it. It is probably going to be my last tournament with the national team and I am very excited because before these two play-off games there was all this kind of talk that we were not able to beat Denmark. Now we are very happy and I am satisfied.

'I let my feet talk. I don't talk in public.'

The 34-year-old's contract in Paris is up in the summer but, having played in Sweden, Holland, Italy, Spain and France, insisted he had run out of time in his career for a move to the Premier League.

He said: 'I think it is too late to come to England. I am very happy in PSG, I have my last six months and let us see what happens afterwards.

'I am enjoying it, I enjoy every day on the field. While I am playing at the top level I just want to join it and do my thing. I do not know where I will finish my career let us wait and see.'

Ibrahimovic was expected to quit international football if Sweden were dumped out by their Scandinavian rivals. After settling the tie, Ibrahimovic told Swedish television: 'They said they were going to send me to retirement. I sent their whole nation into retirement.'
