She dressed her slender curves in a city winter coat, which was styled further with tailored trousers, a coordinating flap cap and a polka dot scarf.

With her brunette tresses left loose in glossy curls, the 32-year-old looked nothing short of glamorous in her warm autumnal getup.

Meanwhile, Rita was hard to miss in a bright pink knitted jumper, which she teamed with ripped boyfriend jeans and a black beret.

Wrap up in a black coat like Cheryl

In full-on judge mode, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini loves nothing more than a show-stopping gown. All her choices this year so far have got the thumbs up from us. But it's off-duty Cheryl that we love the most.

Like here, on her way out of the studio, in a chic all-black ensemble. This is the side of Cheryl's wardrobe that we can all relate to. Her super versatile black coat is by Saint Laurent, as is that rather lovely dot print scarf.

If you buy any cover-up this winter, make it one like Cheryl's. You can quite literally wear it with any outfit: jeans, over a party dress or even as part of your work wardrobe. Here, Cheryl teams hers with a grey sweater and her J Brand jeans. Plus another standout accessory... her Isabel Marant hat.

We've found a very similar Saint Laurent coat to Cheryl's on the right, and if you are looking for an early Christmas present to yourself, buy into the French label right now. Or check out some alternatives from the high street and beyond, below.

The 24-year-old plumped up her pout with a glossy slick of pale pink lipstick and emphasised her gorgeous peepers with jet-black mascara and well-defined eyeliner.

Close behind was fellow judge Nick Grimshaw, the 31-year-old kept his cool in a grey stitched jacket with denim trousers and a matching shirt.

He appeared to be in relaxed spirits following the night’s surprise flash vote, which saw one of his acts - Mason Noise - get eliminated from the ITV show.

The handsome wannabe from Birmingham was banished from the competition after he found himself in the bottom three alongside Anton Stephens and 4th Impact.

'Thank you to everyone who voted, thank you to everyone who didn't vote as well,' he said, fairly diplomatically.

'He's exactly the kind of popstar we need,' added mentor Nick Grimshaw. 'I'm not worried about the future of Mason at all.'

The shock announcement comes after Cheryl Fernandez-Versini revealed on Twitter that one act would lose their spot in the competition.

Making the shock announcement on Saturday night, just one hour before the live show, the petite brunette said that 10 minutes before the end of the show, one act would be voted off.
