Nicole, who won the best actress award for her role as pioneering British scientist Rosalind Franklin in the play Photograph 51, kept a low-profile, dressing head to toe in black.

Keen not to be disturbed on her run, Nicole wore her cap pulled down and a pair of shades for her disguise. A pair of earphones no doubt helped to motivate her through the session.

The Moulin Rouge star mixed up the terrain underfoot, alternating between the tarmac and grass, pausing to re-tie her laces at one point on her jog.
