Sources told Daily Mail Online that she had overdosed on pills and previously spent time as an in-patient at a psychiatric facility. Miss Mayer was found at the home by her parents, the NY Daily News reported. The paper reported a law enforcement official said the cause of death was hanging. It is believed that a modified autopsy in line with the Hasidic faith was taking place on Sunday night. On July 20, her sister, Faigy Mayer, 29, (left as a young girl and right as an adult) leapt to her death from the 20th story 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar (inset) in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, onlookers said.
