She described being pregnant as 'the worst experience of my life', but that has not stopped Kim Kardashian from upping the style stakes.

The 34-year-old, who is due to give birth to her second child in December, is rarely seen without her over-sized shades, stilettos, trench coats and cleavage-baring dresses.

While Kim makes maternity wear look sexy Lauren Turner, an editor at celebrity website Popsugar, found replicating her style revealing and at time physically impossible without help, yet said the clingy dresses were surprisingly comfortable.

Ms Turner, who is nine months pregnant with her second child, channeled her inner Kardashian for one week by replicating Kim's notorious style.

The Popsugar editor wore knee-high boots, trench coats and firm-fitting dresses for the occasion, even daring to bare extreme cleavage for a day in the office.

She documented the experience on Popsugar, but said wearing the outfits was not as bad as she first thought.

'To be fair, I didn't have to wear that lace jumpsuit, but trust me when I say no one was more surprised than me with how I felt about the whole experience,' Ms Turner wrote on Popsugar,

'Gawk all you want at Kim's ridiculous ensembles (or me attempting to emulate them), but it just wasn't that bad.

'It was a little fun to feel extra sexy at nine months pregnant, especially when sexy is not a word I normally associate with my pregnant self.'

'It just wasn't that bad': Ms Turner wore knee-high black boots, a firm-fitting black skirt and black trench coat, but despite feeling suitable covered-up, was uncomfortable revealing so much cleavage

Her first outfit was a cleavage-baring all-black ensemble paired with knee-high boots and over-sized shades.

Ms Turner followed in Kim's footsteps by slipping in to a pair of maternity spanx before pulling on the waisted pencil skirt, large trench coat and mesh top that revealed a black bra beneath.

Kim first wore the ensemble on a day out in New York in September, while Ms Turner said she wore the outfit for about 20 minutes through the office and down the street.

Apart from the extreme cleavage, Ms Turner said she felt surprisingly covered-up in the ensemble.

Her second outfit, again all black, featured an even more daring plunging neckline.

The outfit was a replica of one Kim wore for a day out in Soho in September, and included a lace-up black dress, over-sized black blazer and strappy stilettos.

Apart from feeling self-conscious going bra-less, and being physically unable to get her own shoes on, Ms Turner said the stretchy ensemble was relatively comfortable.

After the revealing outfits she wore previously, Ms Turner felt most at ease slipping in to the last pale pink, high-necked dress.

The outfit was a replica of a nude dress and coat ensemble Kim wore in September.

Ms Turner said the trench coats Kim wears hide any lumps and bumps that come with pregnancy, and made her feel less self-conscious about wearing the skin-tight clothes.

Apart from the strappy nude stilettos, she said she felt comfortable in the outfit and the clothes, while firm-fitting and often revealing, are probably the most comfortable option Kim has.

She what sets Kim Kardashian apart is she has an image to maintain and a style squad of assistants in tow.

While Ms Turner said she might wear one of the more daring outfits for an event, the style was 'not happening' for everyday wear and with a two-year-old and husband in tow, she would stick with her ballet flats and maternity jeans.
