Green smoothies and PIZZA? Snezana Markoski loses 5kg in one month with help from boyfriend Sam Wood's 28-day health and fitness program

Sam Wood has made a career out of his love for health and fitness, so it was only a matter of time before his lifestyle would rub on girlfriend Snezana Markoski.

The mother-of-one recently took on her boyfriend's 28-day health and fitness program, and, as a result, has already lost 5kg and gained one impressive bikini body. 

The former Bachelor star developed a four-week fitness plan for Snezana, and put the 35-year-old on a diet that includes morning smoothies, lower carb bread lunches, and hearty dinners.

Sam, who has taken on the role of Snezana's personal trainer, told NW magazine about the first time he took his leading lady into his Melbourne gym The Woodshed.

'She was saying, "I'm so unfit, I don't want you to see you, you'll be so fit." I was like, "Don't be ridiculous,"' he told the publication. 

'She was great,' he said. 'She was pretty impressive actually. She's tough, she does boxing and circuits and stuff back home.'

Sam, who is a spokesman for Helga's Lower Carb, included plenty of the brand's products in Snezana's diet plan.

Highlights included a breakfast option of two slices of Helga's Lower Carb bread with fresh sliced tomato, cracked pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil, and a pizza dinner consisting of the Lower Carb wholemeal wrap topped with tomato paste, lamb strips, and low-fat tzatziki and feta.

SAM'S 28-DAY MEAL PLAN FOR SNEZANA

Breakfasts include: 

- Green smoothie (Blend 1 cup of kale, 1 green apple, a handful of spinach, 200ml of cucumber and pomegranate juice and a sprig of mint)

- Poached egg on 2 slices of Helga's Lower Carb bread with a 1/4 avocado and low-fat feta cheese

- 2 slices of Helga's Lower Carb with fresh sliced tomato, cracked pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil 

Lunches include: 

- 1 cup of low-fat natural yoghurt with 1/2 cup of berries

- Helga's Lower Carb Wholemeal wrap with lean leg ham and a cup of salad ingredients 

 - 1 cup of soup served with 2 slices of Helga's Lower Carb bread 

Dinners include: 

- Pizza (Lower Carb wholemeal wrap topped with tomato paste, lamb strips, and low-fat tzatziki and feta)

- 1 grilled salmon fillet with lemon juice and paprika with 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa and a cup of mixed green vegetables

- Thai fishcakes with 1/4 cup of quinoa and a fresh garden salad

Back in August, Snezana told OK magazine that the Bachelor mansion, where she first met Sam, was divided into girls who viewed their time there as a holiday, and those who stuck to strict diets and fitness routines.

‘I am definitely one of the girls who didn’t amp it up when I was in the house,' she said. 'It was quite the opposite.'

'To me, it was a time to enjoy and not worry about anything. I ate a lot and did very little exercise – I think I exercised twice in the house.’

These days, however, Snezana has been flaunting her trimmer figure at weekly red carpet appearances, and during a recent trip to Bali with Sam.

'Loving the Perth beach weather, so glad I've been doing Sam's 28 program,' she captioned alongside a snap showing her hard-earned figure in a bikini. 

'Loving it!' she added.

The following day she shared a picture of herself eating cheese and tomato sauce on biscuits.

'Kraft singles and tomato sauce! For a Aussie wog girl I can be such a bogan!' she captioned a selfie of herself indulging in the snack.
