He's enjoyed a few weeks off to bask in newlywed bliss.

But it was back-to-work for Rylan Clark, 27, as he returned to ITV's This Morning on Monday to give viewers a first look at his wedding to Dan Neal.

Speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, the former X Factor star admitted he shunned a magazine deal to keep an element of privacy about their Essex nuptials.

He explained: 'We had the best day. Our family and friends were just amazing. And it was so nice that we managed to keep it as private as we did.'

The TV presenter revealed a host of never-before-seen pictures, which he admitted some of his family hadn't even seen yet.

He said: 'We could have put these in a magazine - we thought about it - but we thought, do you know what, we’ll just come on here, it’s like my second home, and half of our family ain't seen these yet! So I hope they’re watching!'

In one of the heartwarming photos, the happy couple are seen signing the register, surrounded by 10 bridesmaids including former Steps star, Claire Richards.

The 38-year-old singer cosies up to Eamonn Holmes and Katie Price in another shot, the trio practising their best pouts in a cute selfie.

He told Holly and Phil: 'It was so lovely, and we left our outfits right to the last minute - it was the one thing we forgot to do… and this amazing company made our outfits in two weeks!

'I drew up what I wanted and they made it. I literally couldn’t thank them enough.'

Aside from showing off his wedding photos, Rylan confirmed he's back to his day job as a showbiz reporter on the show five days a week, following the couple's Maldives honeymoon.

The pair wed in Essex on November 7, surrounded by friends and family and a host of famous faces including Amy Childs and Gok Wan.

The couple have been dating since 2013, after Rylan interviewed the father-of-one on Big Brother's Bit on the Side.
