Milan exodus continues as Dutch veteran Van Bommel returns to PSV

AC Milan midfielder Mark van Bommel has announced he will return to PSV Eindhoven at the end of the season.

Van Bommel joined Milan in January 2011 and signed a one-year extension to his deal last summer.

With tears in his eyes on Saturday, the Netherlands captain said he is leaving to respect the wishes of his family and return to Holland.

Van Bommel, who spent seven seasons at PSV, says he will return to the Dutch club 'for a year, maybe two, then I will become a coach.'

Referring to Milan as 'like a family', Van Bommel also added he would like to coach the Serie A giant in the future.

The 35-year-old Van Bommel becomes the fourth Milan player to confirm he is leaving the club this week after Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso and Filippo Inzaghi.
