Milla Jovovich is in good spirits during play date with Ali Larter day after it was revealed police are investigating bomb threats against her mom

Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter bonded over their children during a break in filming Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in South Africa on Monday.

The two actresses, both 39, are seen in costume and makeup as they sit on the ground outside a star trailer on the set.

With them in the sweet snap, shared on Instagram by Ali, are Milla's daughter Dashiel, who was born in April, and Ali's kids Theodore, who turns five next month, and Vivienne, born in January.

While Milla is in Cape Town with her family, her 65-year-old mother Galina has been the target of bomb threats.

TMZ reported Sunday that the LAPD is investigating after a mystery caller, who demands to talk to her famous daughter, threatened to blow up Galina's home. 

The calls started earlier this year and a law enforcement official told the website they usually happen at night and sometimes twice a day.

The caller also claims to be involved with a gang in Los Angeles.

In the Monday snapshot, Milla, whose husband is the film's director Paul W.S. Anderson, shows off her impressive weight loss since giving birth in a tiny tank top as she holds her blonde-haired, blue-eyed little girl on her lap.

The baby is dressed in pink romper pants and a matching pink cardigan and doesn't seem to mind that her mommy looks all 'beaten up,' thanks to the fake cuts and bruises applied by the makeup department.

The actress even has a 'bloodied' dagger tucked into the side of her boot as she holds her daughter.

Ali's natural blonde hair is dyed a dark red for her role as the heroine Claire in the final installment of the franchise based on the popular video game.

The smiling star has one hand out to caress her blonde son, who's wearing a blue t-shirt, while little Vivienne is cute as a button in a light pink hoodie and pink patterned pajamas and playing at her mom's feet.

In a second photo shared Monday by Milla via Instagram , she's seen holding Dashiel as she's had her makeup touched up and both mother and daughter are staring straight into the camera.

The 39-year-old has a large red bloody gash on her right temple and on her right cheek and her chest is covered in blood and bruises too.

She playfully captioned the snap: 'When babies attack.'

Milla also has a daughter Ever, who celebrated her eighth birthday earlier this month.
