And Ellie Goulding, 28, channelled her inner rockstar as she covered up in a stylish moto leather jacket at LAX airport on Saturday.

The singer rocked the eye-catching jacket over a plain black t-shirt, tight-fitting black trousers and a pair of heavy-duty gothic boots.

It's been a busy week for Ellie, after performing on Swedish Idol on Friday and attending the ITV Gala at the London Palladium on Thursday, and she no doubt covered tired looking eyes with trendy black shades.

Not long after stepping off the plane, LA's warm climate forced Ellie to remove her jacket. But the star didn't look flustered by the heat as she strolled out of the airport.

The Burn singer wore a glossy pink lip and neatly shaped eyebrows with her hair comfortably tied back. She gave a sweet smile as she walked with her entourage, radiating an impressive glow for someone who had just been on a long haul flight.

She protected her modesty by sporting a black vest under the sheer number - a stark contrast to her bra-flashing ways in recent days.

Delirium is the singer's third album and Ellie has described the meaning behind the album title is one word that sums up everything she has been through to get to this point in life.

‘It can be describing a really happy, crazy state, or it can be the complete opposite. I’m constantly in a state of delirium,’ she revealed to Marie Clare magazine this month.
