Forget five-star resorts or ski chalets – the world’s wealthiest holidaymakers are getting away from it all on the most luxurious superyachts this winter.

After the summer season was spent on the Mediterranean, billionaires, A-list actors and supermodels will be playing in the sun in St Barts and other hotspots in the Caribbean.

With helipads, health spas, cinemas infinity pools and weekly rates exceeding $1million, these are some of the most luxurious superyachts available for charter over the winter months.

Kismet – $1.2million (£790,000) per week

With a crew of 28 to take care of every need, it is the most desired charter yacht in the world today, said brokerage firm Moran Yacht & Ship.

A World Superyacht Award winner, this vessel belongs to Shahid Khan, the owner of Fulham Football Club and the National Football League's Jacksonville Jaguars.
