But lovebirds Chloe Madeley and James Haskell gave fans a little surprise after posting a snap of themselves looking distinctly different.

With the use of a photo-distorting application, the daughter of TV stalwarts Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan and her rugby star beau could be seen sporting double chins and fuller cheeks.

In the Instagram picture, posted on Monday, the 28-year-old TV personality said: ‘Haha, if I ate as much cake and chocolate as i want to this would happen inside a few weeks for sure.’ [sic]

Meanwhile, 30-year-old James teased: ‘what @madeleychloe and i look like pre air brushing....Very similar to some others peddling fitness haha...*coughrealitytvCough*’ [sic]

The snap was a far cry from the image Chloe posted hours earlier, where the former Dancing On Ice contestant could be seen showing off her sculpted physique in all its glory.

Posing in just a pair of black gym shorts and a matching bralet, the fitness buff happily flaunted her rock hard abs and toned biceps.

She captioned the image: ‘When you have to stop mid #workout because you had a glass of whisky 7 hours ago and you don't want to vom on your boyfriend's Dumbbells.

‘I've been trying to finish my workout since 630am and I'll be damned if I'm leaving before its done!’ [sic]

In a recent interview, Chloe revealed she does take a lot of pride in her physical appearance but refutes any accusations that claim she ‘sponges off’ her parents.

‘I'll admit to narcissism and a certain amount of self-congratulation, but I have never received a hand-out from my parents. Never,’ she told The Sunday Telegraph.

‘My parents gave me a great education and, yes, because of them certain doors were opened to me when I was starting out and dabbled in television,’ she added.

‘But in the world of health and fitness it's all down to me. Every time I post a selfie, I'm advertising my work, my business - and, yes, showing off a bit because I'm bloody proud of what I've achieved.’

Chloe has been determined to escape her parents’ shadow as she continues working hard with her flourishing fitness empire, called Fitness Fondue.
