Klopp was given a brief introduction to speaking scouse by Isaac as the former Borussia Dortmund boss learned the phrase 'boss tha'.

The video, uploaded to Liverpool's official Facebook account on Monday, begins with Klopp being greeted by a beaming Isaac as a handshake between the pair quickly turns into a hug.

Young Isaac greets the Liverpool manager by saying 'Guten Tag' before he begins the lesson of his own. 'I could teach you a few scouse phrases which could come in useful,' Isaac says.

Klopp agrees that it would be 'very useful' before Isaac holds up a card that reads 'boss tha'.

After struggling with the pronunciation slightly, Klopp takes a guess at what the phrase means. 'Hello boss?' Isaac explains that the term is used to describe something that it 'really good'.

'Ah yes, I heard about it,' Klopp replies before using the phrase in a sentence. 'We beat Manchester City and that was boss,' the German says as he breaks out in uncontrollable laughter.

Klopp's mood will have been buoyed by his side's impressive display against title favourites City on Saturday evening.

The Reds were rampant at the Etihad and led 3-0 after half an hour as Eliaquim Mangala put into his own net before Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino fired Liverpool further ahead.

It was their best performance under Jurgen Klopp and offers great encouragement for the rest of the season as Liverpool hunt a place in the top four.
