Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is closing in on a return to the first-team and the midfielder has admitted he cannot wait to play his first game under Jurgen Klopp.
Henderson's last appearance for the Reds was in the 1-0 victory against Bournemouth on August 17, where he was replaced by Emre Can after 52 minutes because of a heel injury.
His comeback has been delayed further by a broken foot and with the club changing managers while he has been on the sidelines, it has been a frustrating time for the England man to be out of action.

'I'm getting there,' Henderson, who was pictured suited up on Sunday at a charity function held by James Milner, told Sky Sports. 'This is one of the longest periods of time I've been out for and that has been tough for me.
'Hopefully I'm not too far away now.'
The captain's return will be welcome. Klopp has had to mould his team without two of his key players as Daniel Sturridge joined Henderson on the sidelines due to a knee problem shortly after the German arrived last month.
But Sturridge was an unused substitute in Liverpool's 4-1 victory at Manchester City on Saturday and Henderson hopes that, with the squad returning to full strength, it is a standard of performance his team can reach consistently.
'I thought the lads were outstanding from start to finish,' Henderson said. 'Hopefully that can set a standard for us for the rest of the season.
'That shows how well we can play and we just need the consistency and to keep playing with the freedom that we did on Saturday.

Liverpool's next match is at home against Bordeaux in the Europa League on Thursday, where three points will secure the club's place in the last 32 of the competition.
They then face Swansea at Anfield on Sunday in the Premier League.
