Adele 'just wants a peaceful life, happy life' as the superstar singer's 25 album looks set to break record for biggest sales in a week
She has spent the past three years keeping a low profile as she raised her son, Angelo.
Now Adele is back with her new album, 25, which is set to rack-up the biggest sales in a week ever and will be the top selling disc of the year, according to Billboard magazine.
Although the 27-year-old is undoubtedly delighted with its success, 'she really just wants a peaceful, happy life and she's trying her best to maintain it,' a source told Us Weekly.

The magazine featured the Rolling In The Deep star on its December 7 cover, which hit the newsstands on Monday.
Adele, whose full name is Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, is seen from the shoulders up looking glamorous in black with her blonde hair in a Sixties-style updo.
Her perfectly applied make-up emphasized her beautiful green eyes with her trademark black eyeliner.
Snuggling up: The couple, pictured at Lady Gaga's gig at Annabel's nightclub in London in 2013, have been together for four years. Adele revealed that she'd rather be home with him and Angelo than anywhere else
The Brit has been busily promoting 25 in the US this past week with appearances on the morning shows and Saturday Night Live, where she performed her latest hit, Hello, and When We Were Young, both from the album - sending the show's ratings rocketing, according to Variety.
But she's determined to stay true to her roots, a friend told Us, saying: 'All the Hollywood stuff seems surreal to her.'
The pal continues: 'She's conflicted because she has this amazing career but all she wants to do is be with Simon and Angelo,' referring to Adele's boyfriend of four years, Simon Konecki.
'My life is all about him.': Adele, pictured with Angelo in January, told iHeartRadio's Elvis Duran on Friday, 'I'm madly in love and I've got a kid. I'm in the best place ever'
The 41-year-old investment banker turned philanthropist is the father of her three-year-old and the family live in London.
Meanwhile, Adele also graced the front cover of the latest issue of People, which quoted her telling iHeartRadio's Elvis Duran on Friday: 'I'm madly in love and I've got a kid. I'm in the best place ever.
'You don't understand what a major thing it is to have a child until you do it. My life is all about him now, when before it was all about me. I never fell so in love.'
Also on Monday, Adele's interview while taping the Church Studios sessions was released.
She performed Hello at the studio and the performance was edited with some interview clips.'I knew Hello would be the first song that I came back with in any capacity. Just because of the opening line and stuff like that. At first, I was a bit like, "Is this too obvious?" But, it’s so conversational, and I wanted to have a conversation with everyone,' she said.
'After I heard it on the radio, it was such a relief. I went to the toilet and cried my eyes out.'
