She put on a showstopping performance at the American Music Awards on Sunday evening.

But a few hours later, Demi Lovato only had eyes for the leading man in her life, boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

The smitten couple, who have been in a relationship since 2010, appeared to be in fantastic spirits as they enjoyed a romantic dinner date at Craig's Restaurant in West Hollywood.

Turning heads as she passed by, Demi oozed heaps of sex appeal in a bold PVC bralet and tight mini-skirt, which featured a gold zip running down it.

The US singer, 23, flashed her toned figure in the racy ensemble, while partially staying covered up in a textured jacket.

With her raven tresses left loose in tousled waves, the star plumped up her pout with a matted slick of rich red lipstick and emphasised her gorgeous striking eyes with lashings of mascara.

Earlier in the evening, Demi opted for vintage glamour in a stunning black and gold gown as she hit the red carpet, channelling old Hollywood with her hair in 1920s waves.

The songstress teamed up with Alanis Morissette to perform the 1995 hit You Oughta Know on-stage.

Despite the fact Demi was only three years old when the 41-year-old's iconic Jagged Little Pill album hit the charts in the 1990s, she proved she had well and truly caught up.

The crowd was whipped into a frenzy as the two talented musicians gave an energetic and stirring rendition of the singer's 1995 hit.

Demi also made quite an impact on the audience with her impeccable vocals during a performance of new single Confident.
