James Corden plants a tender kiss on wife Julia Carey as the lovebirds enjoy basketball game on cosy date night

While most of Hollywood partied late into the night at the American Music Awards on Sunday evening, James Corden and his wife Julia Carey were enjoying a romantic date night.

The lovebirds were seen cosying up together at a basketball game between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

In fact, the couple engaged in a rare PDA whilst at the game, demonstrating just how in-love they truly are.

The Late Late Show host, 37, planted a tender kiss on his wife's head, who looks blissfully happy with the touching gesture.

With an arm wrapped protectively around her, the pair couldn't have looked more at ease in one another's company.

The former Gavin and Stacey star cut a casual figure wearing a black leather bomber jacket, with a polo shirt, jeans and trainers.

Charity worker Julia looked stylish in a white T-shirt, sleeveless grey zipped jacket, distressed skinny jeans and a pair of grey trainers, keeping her belongings close to her in a stylish black leather handbag.

She sported winged eyeliner and pink lipgloss, topping the look off with a glossy red manicure.

The couple married in a lavish ceremony at Babington House, Somerset in 2012 and have two children together; four-year-old son Max and one-year-old daughter, Carey.

The family moved to the US after Corden was announced as as the new host of The Late Late Show, replacing Craig Ferguson who presented the show for ten years.

They seem to have quickly become accustomed to the Californian way of life, and have regularly been seen out and about rubbing shoulders with Hollywood royalty.

James has been talk of the town since his debut in March, and guests on his chat show so far have included Tom Hanks, Mila Kunis and Matt Damon.
