I'm A Celebrity's Lady Colin Campbell stays eerily quiet during Helmets of Hell Bushtucker Trial as she's covered in venomous green ants

She might talk non-stop in Camp Rock, but it looks like it's a completely different story during a task.

I'm A Celebrity's Lady Colin Campbell, 66, was seen enduring the Helmets of Hell Bushtucker Trial on Monday night's episode - and stayed absolutely silent throughout the whole thing.

No doubt taking a leaf out of fellow contestant Chris Eubank's book - who advised his teammates to find their 'inner zen' during tasks - the flamboyant socialite was eerily quiet.

With hosts Ant and Dec looking on from the sidelines, the mother-of-two was seen having a nest of giant green ants - which are capable of causing allergic reactions - placed on top of her head.

Her eyes covered with a pair of clear goggles, the venomous insects immediately started crawling over her face and neck.

Dec asked her: 'Any idea what's in there, Lady C?' but she responded by gesturing for him to be quiet, so Dec tells him to 'shh'.

Lady C holds her breath as Dec tells her they're green ants, and she's seen clutching her hands together in desperation.

Ant tells her: 'You've probably noticed, they do bite', and she nods in response, suggesting to the TV presenter that they've already done so.

The ant's bite itself is often unnoticeable but the venom they inject initiates a sharp burning sensation, which can last for up to two hours.

Dec tells the Jamaican-born royal author that she's doing well but she has yet to say a word, so he asks her 'You still happy, give me a thumbs up if you're happy?'

She does indeed give him a thumbs up, before moving it around insinuating that she's not exactly great.

Lady C then gestures downwards, which Dec takes to mean that she wants him to spin around on the ground.
