She was among the winners at this year’s Evening Standard Theatre Awards.

So it’s no wonder Gemma Arterton was full of smiles at the star-studded after-party, held at iconic Old Vic Theatre in London on Sunday night.

The 29-year-old, who won the Newcomer in a Musical Award for her musical debut in Made In Dagenham, looked absolutely sensational as she partied the night away with fellow actress Ruth Wilson.

She dressed her toned curves in a pretty pink Prada number, which featured a plunging neckline and a flowing hemline.

With her brunette mid-length tresses left loose, Gemma looked nothing short of glamorous in her style choice as she stood tall in gold peep-toe heels.

The British beauty enhanced her striking complexion with flawlessly applied makeup, while keeping her accessories to a bare minimum with glitzy drop-down earrings.

The former Bond Girl joined Nicole Kidman, James McAvoy and Imelda Staunton, who were also among the winners at this year's bash.

Hollywood beauty Nicole, 48, won the award for Best Actress for her performance as scientist Rosalind Franklin in Photograph 51.

Speaking before the ceremony, she said: 'I kind of jumped into it without realising how much I was taking on so halfway through the rehearsals I got real stage fright. To be standing here today is extraordinary and I am so so glad that I did it.’

'I did it for my father, who was a scientist - he has been orbiting around this whole thing - and also for Rosalind, who was not recognised in her lifetime. That has been very very important to me.

'Photograph 51 was written by a female playwright about a female scientist so to be able to champion that was an honour and a privilege.'

McAvoy was named Best Actor for his role in The Ruling Class, while Staunton received a standing ovation after she won Best Musical Performance for Gypsy and performed the song Everything's Coming Up Roses from the musical.

There was also a performance from Pixie Lott, who sung Moon River from the forthcoming production of Breakfast At Tiffany's.

Actors Judi Dench and Ian McKellen served as co-hosts of the event, along with the Evening Standard's publisher Evgeny Lebedev.
