Supermodel Karlie Kloss has already attained superstar heights that most can't even dream of - but in her latest space-themed shoot, she's proving that she intends to keep reaching for the stars.
The 23-year-old appears on the cover of the holiday issue of WSJ Magazine, posing in a patriotic stars-and-stripes-emblazoned ensemble in front of a powerful image of a launching spacecraft - a fitting symbol for someone who has achieved so much, and yet still has such big aspirations ahead of her.
'I want to be doing my day job for a very long time,' Karlie told the publication in an accompanying interview. 'But I also want to grow businesses and make a meaningful impact.'

All-American model: Karlie Kloss stars in a space-theme photo shoot for the new issue of WSJ Magazine
Really excited: The 23-year-old said the out-of-this-world shoot was the coolest one she's ever done
Family matters: She also shared on her YouTube channel, Klossy, that her dad is a 'space nerd' and she was excited that he could tag along
Earlier this year, Karlie stunned many people working within the fashion industry when she walked away from a lucrative role as a Victoria's Secret Angel in order to dedicate more time to her schoolwork as a student at NYU.
She also revealed a passion for computer coding, something which she dedicated even more resources to when she set up a scholarship for young female coding enthusiasts to learn more about the subject.
'I was craving a new challenge,' the model said of the initiative.
In addition to that, she's been growing her charitable baked goods business Karlie’s Kookies, a line of dairy and gluten-free cookies which fans can buy from Momofuku Milk Bar and that benefit FEED and the Council of Fashion Designers of America. She said that her goal is to eventually turn the brand into one like Newman's Own.
Busy babe: In her interview, Karlie said she'd like to keep modeling for a long time but wants to do more, too
Launch your workout in style with Karlie's Nike jacket
Karlie is what icons and legends are made of. Looks and brains and legs for days.
While this shoot for WSJ Magazine brought us pieces from Saint Laurent, and Lacoste, Apple watches and more, we had eyes for this sporty red and white banded Nike track jacket.
We've seen a steady rise in atheleisure trends for a while now. So that means sporty styled clothing that used to be consigned to that off-limits part of your closet for gym clothes is now open for daily business.
Thanks to girls like Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian; sportswear is now totally acceptable for daytime ready to wear and if you're looking to jump on the trend then we think this Nike jacket is the perfect way in.
Click right to buy Karlie's red hot number from Nike.com. But if you care to have a look around before making that call-- have a gander at our favorite options from around the web below!
Outside the box: She was especially blown away by the juxtaposition of high fashion and industrial equipment
Perpetual student: Karlie also talked about getting to learn from the 'greats' in the fashion industry, like photographer Steven Meisel and designer Oscar de la Renta
Then there's her YouTube channel, Klossy, where Karlie gets real and talks directly to her fans, answering questions and even offering behind-the-scenes peeks at some of her shoots - including her space-themed WSJ Magazine one.
'I'm so glad that my job got me in the door of the SpaceX factory, and best of all, I got to bring my dad, which is really awesome because he's the biggest space nerd I've ever met,' she said.
'The rockets were so cool,' she added before showing off the racks and racks of clothes that stylists brought in for the shoot. 'It's kind of amazing to see all of these high fashion racks of clothes sitting next to, like, tanks of propane or hydrogen.'
But all of that - the coding, the cookies, the YouTube channel - hasn't kept Karlie from continuing to achieve great success as a model; while ensuring that she stays focused on her schoolwork, the New York-based fashion star is also still one of the leading lights of the fashion industry, boasting campaigns with the likes of Marc Fisher, Diane von Furstenburg and Kate Spade.
Strange side-effects: The supermodel, who is a pro and posing for photographers, admitted she'll never get used to paparazzi following her around
Smile! Tonight, she posed on the red carpet at the British Fashion Awards at the London Coliseum
Natural show-stopper: She kept her hair and make-up simple, opting for nude polish, natural waves, and a bit of blush on her cheeks
'I’ve had a firsthand education from the greats, whether it be seeing [photographer] Steven Meisel set his lights or having Oscar de la Renta drape a gown on my body,' she said, mentioning the late fashion designer whose show she closed for five years in a row.
Still, she hasn't quite gotten comfortable with being followed around by cameras everywhere she goes; she admitted that 'there's no getting used to' having hoards of paparazzi waiting for her outside of stores and restaurants, even if she readily poses for them on the red carpet.
In fact, the leggy blonde smiled and cocked her hip like a pro at the British Fashion Awards in London tonight, where she also waved and gave smoldering glances over her shoulder.
Karlie wore a metallic lace dress by Chanel, which she teamed with a black and gold Chanel clutch and understated black bumps.
