She's been preparing for months for her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Joe Manganiello, set to take place on Sunday at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida.

So on Saturday Sofia Vergara was happy to declare 'We r ready' and take a well-deserved break - in the form of a pool day - ahead of the big day.

The 43-year-old posed in a plunging, sheer, white lace cover-up before heading to the pool, which she wore over top of a coordinating, white bikini.

Lady in white: Though Sofia Vergara had said she wanted to avoid traditional attire for her wedding, she was spotted wearing a lacy, white cover-up ahead of the ceremony, as she hit the pool on Saturday

Sofia had previously spoken with People Magazine, saying she would like to avoid more traditional styling for brides, noting: 'I already got married before. I think I’m past that virgin look.'

'I want to look sexy. I want to look great. I want to look good and [wear] something that I know is going to look good in pictures,' the star continued, hinting that perhaps this lacy, white dress ahead of the ceremony would be the only white she would be wearing this weekend.

She later showed off a big grin as she posed with a large group of family and friends by the hotel's pool.

Her long, caramel tresses were styled straight for the pool day, and she hid her eyes behind a pair of over-sized, black sunglasses.

It seemed Sofia later retired to her room, where she took a gorgeous photograph in the Martha Medeiros cover-up on a balcony overlooking the stunning ocean views.

The star - who is set to exchange her vows with Joe in front of 400 of their closest friends and family members - shared another enthusiastic picture as she arrived in Palm Beach on Friday.

She donned a form-fitting navy blue dress with a bright red rose pattern, and coupled it with coordinating red pumps as she sipped a glass of wine.

Sofia simply captioned the photo 'Palm Beach,' with a few heart emojis, as the actress could be seen celebrating with friends and family before the big day.

Her 23-year-old son Manolo - from ex-husband Joe Gonzalez - has also been documenting the weekend on Instagram, sharing photos of him at the resort sporting a T-shirt reading '#Jofia' in shiny, gold lettering.

The playful T-shirt combines the first names of the happy bride and groom - Joe and Sofia - and he noted he and his companions were wearing it so 'we won't get lost.'

On Friday Sofia couldn't contain her pre-wedding glee as she shared a picture of her and Joe with their event florist Jeff Leatham.

'We r almost ready!! @jeffleatham,' the actress wrote in the caption, of her nuptials, which are set to take place at 6 in the evening on Sunday.

Sofia and Joe - who proposed to the Colombian beauty in December after six months of dating - have requested that guests sign confidentiality agreements ahead of their nuptials.

The couple is determined to keep their ceremony and reception as intimate as possible when they tie the knot.

The Magic Mike XXL actor has been relaxing with friends at a local golf course ahead of the ceremony, while Sofia has been pampering herself at the lavish resort's spa.

A source told E! News: 'The entire hotel is rented out for the weekend. People are flying in from all over the world to be there with them.'

'They're making it a long weekend celebration with the wedding happening at 6 p.m. on Sunday evening,' the source continued. 'They're expecting [the reception] to go all night long with tons of dancing and live performances.'

'People can rest and recuperate on Monday and stay for the Thanksgiving holiday if they choose. Sofia has a lot of family in Florida and will stay to spend time with them.'

And there's plenty to do in the area, as the hotel is a five-minute ride from luxurious shopping area Worth Avenue - with shuttles going back and forth.

The Breakers is a premiere historic resort, open since 1896, and has been home to a host of other big name events, such as Rush Limbaugh's (fourth) wedding to Kathryn Rogers on June 5, 2010.

There were about the same number of guests - 400 - and the lineup at the time included mostly members of the administration of George W. Bush such as Karl Rove, as well as former presidential hopeful and Law & Order star Fred Thompson and former Kansas City Royals slugger George Brett.

The Talk show host had 50 private security guards for the ceremony, while Sofia is planning on 85 for hers.

Earlier that day, a small plane flew over the Breakers with a banner that read: 'Rush, congrats on your fourth marriage. 'XO. Gawker.''

The singer was Elton John, which sent social media ablaze because of Rush’s anti-gay stance.

The Mediterranean Ballroom (where the wedding will take place) has also hosted a number of black tie galas, featuring top acts such as Sting, Jimmy Buffett, and Steven Tyler.

Meanwhile, Sofia and Joe can't wait to be married, with another friend adding: 'They've been living together since very early on in their relationship, but they feel like this is a new chapter. They can't wait to be able to call one another husband and wife.'

Before flying out Joe enjoyed a low-key bachelor party closer to home in Hollywood, California.

In a feast of A-List male eye-candy, he celebrated the end of his bachelorhood with Channing Tatum and Matt Bomer earlier this month - according to US Weekly.

'The group was smoking cigars and bowling and dancing, having a fun time!' an eyewitness told the publication.

'Channing was dancing to the music they had playing in the Spare Room (where the bowling lanes were)… That bowling area is pretty small and most of the guys were huge!' the onlooker told Us.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, Stephen Moyer, Paul Reubens, and even fiance Sofia Vergara’s son Manolo are also reported to have joined the festivities on November 6 at the Roosevelt Hotel.

The onlooker also told the publication that that there were about 15 guests altogether, and that Manganiello and Schwarzenegger bowled with cigars in their mouths.

Another eyewitness swooned to Us: 'I mainly saw Joe bowling, I think I saw Matt Bomer bowl once. He was in glasses and a little sweater/button-down combo. So gorgeous! There were older ladies there swooning over Channing, watching him.'
