Scoring the best deals on Black Friday has become a beloved Thanksgiving tradition, with many stores opening opening on Thursday right after dinner, so shoppers can get a head start on their holiday shopping. 

But with almost every store offering countless discounts and 'doorbuster' deals, navigating the best sales of the year can be a daunting task if you don't have a plan. With so many stores offering similar sales, it is nearly impossible to figure out which retailers are really offering the lowest prices. 

Similarly to last year's sell-out sales, major retailers are looking to attract shoppers with discounts on the latest technology and gadgets that will save savvy customers hundreds - maybe even thousands of dollars.

For those who are in the market for a new television, Best Buy is offering deals for every price point. A 4K 60-inch Samsung TV, which allows users to stream videos and search the internet, is being sold for $799.99 - saving customers a whopping $700.

Meanwhile, if you are looking for a smaller, more affordable television. A Toshiba 49-inch HDTV, which is regularly sold for $429.99, will be available for the low price of $149.99.

People who are looking to get their hands on an Apple Watch, will be pleased to know that they can save up to a $100 at Best Buy on various models, which range from $349 to $699. 

Target is also offering an impressive amount of deals, including Beats Solo 2 headphones for $96.99, $103 less than the original price.

And while Target is offering $100 Target gift cards when you buy any iPad Mini 4 or Apple Watch, Walmart is offering a 16GB iPad Air 2 for $399.00, a $100 less than its original price of $499. 

Fashion fans, who prefer to stay in their pajamas when they shop, will be happy to know that Bloomingdales and Nordstrom are both offering up to 50 per cent off on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. 

Meanwhile, make-up mavens should get ready to take advantage of Sephora's holiday discounts. The brand's Black Friday deals can be previewed early on the Sephora To Go app, and deals feature more than 30 items retailing for only $10 - including a Tarte Easy Glowing Delux Cheek Set (online only) and Make Up For Ever Waterproof Hero Duo eyeliner set.

Anyone in the market for a new television may want to take advantage of Best Buy's Black Friday Bargains.  

While a 4K 60-inch Samsung TV, which retails for $1,499.99, is offered for $799.99, a Toshiba 49-inch HDTV is being offering for $149.99, $280 less than its original price. 

Meanwhile, customers can save up to $100 on the Apple Watch, which retails from $349 to $699 depending on the model. 

And music lovers can save $225 on a Klipsch floorstanding speaker, which will be available for $224.99 each.  

Kmart (starts 6am Thursday)

Movie lovers can head over to Kmart to pick up a Samsung Smart Blu-ray player for $49.99, $30 less than the original price.  

 The retailer is also offering a Samsung 2.1 Channel 120-Watt Bluetooth soundbar for $89.99, $90 less than the original price, and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7' tablet, which regularly sells for $179.99, for $119.00. 

 

Amazon (started on November 20)

Online retailer Amazon started its deals in waves beginning on Friday as part of its 8 Days to Black Friday sale.

Those keeping a watchful eye on the sales can score a $34.99 Amazon Fire tablet, regularly $50, or a $99 Kindle Paperwhite, which typically sells for $119.99. 

The company is also offering a 55-inch Roku smart TV for $348, and $99 Jawbone Up3, which retails for $150.

Walmart (starts 6pm Thursday) 

Anyone looking to transform their HDTV to a smart TV should head to Walmart where a Roku Streaming Device Media Player will be available for only $25.00, regularly $6.04.

Shoppers can also purchase a Chromecast Streaming Media Player for $20, $9.99 less than the typical asking price.

Macy's department store is offering numerous 'doorbuster' deals, including beloved kitchen items for a fraction of the retail price.

Meanwhile, anyone looking to have an at home spa day may want to purchase Bliss skincare kits, which are 50 per cent off, and include the brand's Ready Set Glow, Bleachin' Body and Good to Glow Triple Oxygen Radiance Enhancing skin sets.

Toys R Us (starts 5pm on Thursday 

Toys R Us boasts some of the most impressive deals on children's toys this holiday, offering a number of 50 per cent discounts on some of its most popular items.

All Disney Princess costumes will be 60 per cent off, and available for $7.99 each, while Marvel or Star Wars two-piece costumes will be $24.99, down from $49.99.
