With winter in full swing, temperatures in the capital are currently well below ten degrees celsius.
But that didn't stop the likes of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Mollie King and Pixie Lott from turning up the heat in daring outfits as they braved the biting weather on Monday night at the London Coliseum for the 2015 British Fashion Awards in partnership with Swarovski.
All choosing to take the plunge for the sake of style, the stars did well to capture the limelight while a bold Victoria Beckham stood out in tuxedo as she made the sensible decision to wrap up warm.

The pair sported his-and-her outfits in black suits as they took part in the photocall at the Covent Garden venue hand in hand while Victoria, 41, worked her androgynous ensemble.
The 41-year-old wore cropped panel detail trousers with a three-quarter length sleeved blazer, black top and completed the look with suede stilettos.

Hosted by Jack Whitehall, this year's ceremony saw famed German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld receive the Outstanding Achievement Award.
Meanwhile Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele was awarded the with the gong for International Designer Award and photographer Nick Knight was honoured for his outstanding contribution to the fashion industry.
Victoria Beckham and Christopher Kane lost out on the trophy for Womenswear Designer to J W Anderson, who also picked up Menswear Designer.

'Thank you to the British fashion council, I song know what to say. Thank you to my mum and my son Riley, who wanted me to stay in bed and watch tv with him. This is for him!'

Paying homage to her family, the Pendulum singer quipped: 'When I get nervous I feel like my lisp gets worse so bear with me. I'm very particular.
'I would like to dedicate this award to my mum because she used to make clothes that she wore and I wore. I used to want just a tenth of what she had - people used to look at her in the street because she looked so great.'
She continued: 'My nanna inspired us to be brave and creative and beautiful on the inside as well as the outside.'

The afterparty for the star-studded event followed at Asia de Cuba in St Martin's Lane Hotel.
