Karlie Kloss sizzles in a semi-sheer metallic dress as she showcases all her assets at a rain-soaked British Fashion Awards

While the weather may have been wet and wintery, Karlie Kloss made sure to turn the heat up on the red carpet at the British Fashion Awards.

Arriving at the event at London's iconic Coliseum on Monday evening, the 23-year-old supermodel sizzled as she sashayed into the star-studded event in a semi-sheer metallic dress.

Opting for glamorous yet cheekily risque look, Karlie showcased her incredible figure as well as her assets in the partially see-through fringed gown.

Seemingly impervious to the wet and cold, the former Victoria's Secret poster girl - who quit the company earlier this year - certainly stood out from the crowd in her fitted dress.

Channelling a classic glamour while retaining a hint of saucy modern style, the blonde beauty oozed effortless style and elegance in the svelte silver number which clung to her frame.

Showcasing both her bust and bum, the blonde beauty's gown featured a coiling-pattern print that shimmered in the light and allowed the model to retain her modesty as she walked the red carpet at the high-profile event, held in association with Cîroc Vodka and FIJI Water.

Shine on in Karlie's metallic dress by Chanel

She’s one of the world’s most famous supermodels, so it’s only natural for Karlie Kloss to gravitate towards designers such as Chanel.

The leggy catwalk strutter wowed in a past collection piece from Chanel which oozed timeless chic thanks to its retro, 1920s inspired aesthetic.

The metallic column ankle-grazing dress is from the French fashion house’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection which featured 3D stand out embroidery and an understated paisley print.

The elegant slinky dress suits Karlie's long and lithe figure beautifully, and the metallic texture only makes it a perfect number for the party season.

Unfortunately, Karlie's dress isn't available for purchase but you can emulate her look with our favorite metallic dresses in the edit below from the likes of Forever 21 and Topshop. Style with black stilettos to let the dress do all the shining.

The gown's metallic detail and fringing also appeared to highlight her toned frame even further, while its sleeveless nature and dipping neckline flashed a hint of Karlie's alabaster skin.

Teaming her frock with a pair of needle-point black stiletto heels, the American stunner drew attention to her lithe legs which she flashed occasionally thanks to the dress' thigh-high side slash.

Obviously not wishing to distract from her glittering dress, Karlie kept her accessories to a minimum with a statement diamond bracelet, ear studs and a glittering Chanel clutch.

Wearing her golden tresses in a centre-parting, she let the perfectly tousled and wavy locks flow down around her shoulders.

Keeping to a pale palette of make-up, Karlie subtly highlighted her eyes with some eye shadow before adding a flash of vampish colour to her plump lips with a deep scarlet lipstick.

Determined to not let the British capital's weather impede her chance of arriving at the event in her customary immaculate state, the model was seen arriving with a funky opaque umbrella.

Once inside the event, Karlie mingled with the great and the good of the fashion world, including, the likes of Burberry Chief Creative officer, Christopher Bailey, and catwalk legend Naomi Campbell.

Cosying up to her fellow former Victoria's Secret beauty and model of the year winner Jourdan Dunn, the Harvard-educated beauty was obviously delighted for her pal.

The model was also seen in the company of chart-topping fashionista Lady Gaga, who had flown into London over the weekend and was also spotted at a recording studio earlier in the day.
