Cynthia Bailey threatens to divorce husband Peter in tense relationship showdown... but vows to give marriage 'one last shot' on Real Housewives of Atlanta

Cynthia Bailey has threatened to divorce husband Peter Thomas if they can't make their marriage work.

The Real Housewife of Atlanta told her husband she would give their relationship one more shot, after confessing that she was unsure about her feelings towards him.

During a heated exchange, which saw Peter break down in tears, she said: 'We can't continue with things being the way that they are. Let's make a deal. Let's try to give it one more go, but we are not happy right now together.

'This is not working for us together. Are you the kind of person to stay in something just to be in it when it's not working any more?'

Peter argued: 'When you fall as deep as we fell for each other and decided that we wanted to be with each other, there's no back door.'

Cynthia, 47, told her husband: 'I don't feel like that's realistic. You have to have ultimatums in life. There's a reason why there's divorce. Sometimes it just don't work out.'

Peter replied: 'I don't even believe in that word, but I hear you. I'm going to do everything that I can.'

Sunday night's episode of the Real Housewives saw Cynthia and Peter's relationship unraveling further as she admitted they were 'emotionally and spiritually disconnected'.

After not speaking to her husband in 10 days, Cynthia arrived home from Kenya Moore's hair care party to find him sitting in their house.

Peter, who had previously rowed with his wife's friends over a video which saw him getting touchy feely with a mystery woman, agreed that he had acted inappropriately when confronting them.

He explained: 'I knew it was the first time I was seeing all your friends, so before I got to your party, I wasn't drinking coffee.

'I was inebriated when I walked in there. I didn't know what was going to come at me over that stupid video.'

Peter told Cynthia he thought work had got in the way of their marriage and accused her of not making time for him.

'You made a decision to put a bar in Charlotte,' Cynthia argued back.

She continued: 'I just know what I'm unhappy and what I equate to being unhappy is 'well maybe I'm just not in love with him any more'.'

Asked by Peter when she stopped loving him, she said: 'I don't know. It's been a lot of different things. Sometimes I don't feel like we're even compatible.'

'I never stopped being in love with you,' her husband insisted.

'Just because you say it, doesn't make it so for me. If I don't feel it and you don't show me, I don't feel like you do,' Cynthia explained.

Fighting back tears, Peter told her: 'You don't understand how I feel. When you say to me that you're not in love with me no more, I don't even understand that.'

While Cynthia and Peter agreed to give their marriage one last shot, Kenya and Sheree Whitfield were also patching up their differences.

Kenya, who had previously rowed with Sheree over their neighbouring houses, told her: 'All I said was 'her house isn't finished'.

'But it didn't come out like that Kenya,' Sheree insisted.

'We can't be delusional, Kenya said. 'The house is not finished. I don't need to know the why. I'm just saying it's in my neighbourhood and my neighbours have been talking about it.'

Kenya told Sheree she heard she was on the receiving end of a number of fines, but Sheree told her:' I think I had one fine and that was for erosion.'

The pair agreed to put the row behind them and walked back into Kenya's party hand in hand.

During a lighter moment in Sunday's episode of the Bravo TV show, Phaedra Parks persuaded pal Porsha Williams to have a colonic irrigation with her.

Phaedra told the camera: 'Everybody knows once a year you need a good old spring clean.

'There's a few girls in our circle that could really use a good cleaning out because they're so full of poop they're two shades darker than what they should be.'

Phaedra told Porsha she just needed to relax when she lay down on the table, but Porsha screeched as soon as the water started pumping in.

Phaedra told her fellow housewife to push and compared the experience to having a baby.

'I know. Except it's coming out of the wrong hole,' Porsha quipped.

She later told the camera: 'I will never do a colonic again. There's no need to be that damn clean, I promise you.'
