She's a true Aussie gal! Bindi Irwin leaves Dancing With The Stars studio in UGG boots following touching dance tribute to late father Steve

She left the audience in tears following her touching performance dedicated to her late father Steve Irwin on Monday night.

And following the finals dance off, Bindi proved to still be a true Australian girl at heart as she left the Dancing With The Stars studio in a pair of sheep-skinned UGG boats.

The 17-year-old ditched her glittery ball gown for a grey and white stripped loose-fitting jumper and a pair of leggings as she headed back to her Hollywood home with mother Terri.

She covered up her purple sports bra and a black long singlet top with the jumper as she jumped into an awaiting vehicle.

Showing off a large smile, the wildlife warrior matched her casual attire with a pair of black tights which she rolled up to her knee, giving clear view of her tanned coloured slippers which she left unzipped.

Bindi rocked her stage make-up look for her ride home with a dark faded eye shadow and thick black mascara along with a baby pink lipstick.

Following the dance she confessed she wasn't aware that the image would be shown and that it had been organised by professional dance partner Derek Hough.

'I didn't know that photo was going to be up, so for me this whole experience has meant the world for my whole family and it has changed my life, so thank you so much,' she said.

'I do feel as if dad is still with me every day...I have tried to just remember his strength knowing that dad is kind of still with me.'

She later took to social media to share an image of her family before Steve's death in 2006.

Bindi captioned it: 'The last photo ever taken of us as a family. The day before I had to wave goodbye to my hero, without knowing it would be the last time.'
