And after failing to secure a decent TV deal in recent months, Danniella Westbrook appears to be struggling to make ends meet.

The 42-year-old - who has suffered array of financial setbacks this year - was recently seen working hard at a local pie and mash shop in London’s East End.

Looking upbeat, the former EastEnders actress happily served customers and took the rubbish out to the bins during her shift.

Wearing an apron with denim jeans and a stylish blue blouse, Danniella appeared to be in content spirits as she got stuck in with work.

Earlier this year, the TV star was seen scrubbing the Bill Nicholson pub in Tottenham Hale, and even enthused over her part-time job on Twitter.

'I help my mate at her pub @thebillynicn17 it makes me feel useful and I laugh all day x,' she wrote in March.

Last week, the TV personality took to her social media site to tell her fans about her employment, by tweeting: 'Come down 2 my pie &mashshop today between 11-2 I'm filming my show there 538 barking road Plaistow come be on the telly & buy pie &mash' [sic]

Meanwhile, she is tipped to feature in the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother, which kicks off in January.

According to the Daily Star newspaper, Danniella has agreed to a deal worth £250,000 which is set to be her comeback to television.

The mother-of-two - who was axed from Hollyoaks before filming a single scene this year - is said to be over the moon with the offer.

A source told the paper: 'It's the best early Christmas present she could wish for. She can start 2016 with a comeback on telly and a big payday'.

Danniella was previously deemed 'unfit' to appear on the show, when she lined up to the Elstree compound in August.

However, after a meeting with producers she was sent to meet the show's psychologist due to concerns over her 'erratic' behaviour.

At the time, a show insider told The Sun: 'She was invited to meet them and alarm bells started ringing straight away. She was incredibly incoherent.’
