The London temperatures are plummeting. 

And Denise Van Outen showed she is completely prepared for winter as she wrapped up in a chic-yet-cosy ensemble while heading to work in the capital on Thursday.

The 41-year-old TV personality wore a stunning grey pea coat with leather ankle boots and a fur scarf as she went to Magic FM to compile a playlist for a radio show.

Denise, who shot to fame presenting The Big Breakfast in the 1990s, looked gorgeous in the charcoal grey tweed coat which sat just above her knees. 

She wore thick black leggings with the look while she kept out the cold with a chic fur scarf.

The Only Way Is Essex narrator wore tough leather ankle boots with a stunning tote bag while she had her hands full with a magazine and her phone.

Denise's hair was styled into a bouncy long bob cascading from a centre parting which was given extra volume by her long layers. 

Her make-up was pristine with fluttering false eyelashes protruding from a heavily outlined eye while she slicked her lips with gloss. 

Obviously feeling her look, Denise posted a selfie on Instagram and added the caption: 'On my way to Magic fm to compile my playlist with @louise_molony for this coming Saturday's show 1-3pm'

Clearly in amazing shape, Denise recently discussed her weight and health with MailOnline.

She revealed: 'My weight fluctuates. I’m lucky in that I take after my dad so I’ve got quite a slim build, but I do have to take care of myself. More so now that I’m getting older.

'But I think just because of the work that I do and the fact it involves theatre means that whenever I’ve got a show coming up I have to really look after myself. I’m aware of the benefits of feeling good when you can fit into your skinny jeans.' 

The mother-of-one, who shares a five-year-old daughter with ex-husband Lee Mead, has been dating boyfriend Eddie Boxshall - a commodities trader from Essex - since summer 2014.
