'Happy Thanksgiving from us to you!' Friendly exes Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin celebrate the holidays with children Apple and Moses

Gwyneth Paltrow and ex-husband Chris Martin were the picture of happiness as they posed for a Thanksgiving photo on Thursday.

The former couple got together with over a dozen of their nearest and dearest to celebrate the holiday with their children Apple and Moses.

The 43-year-old actress captioned the snap 'Happy Thanksgiving from us to you!' and is seen beaming with her arm wrapped around her nine-year-old son and a pal.

The group posed in front of a table covered with plates of delicious-looking food. 

Gwyneth wore her hair down and sported a dark sweater while Chris, 38, appeared smart in a white shirt and black waistcoat. 

Moses was seen in a blue camouflage top while Apple, 11, smiled wearing a long-sleeved jersey top as a guest pulled her in for a hug.

The gathering came days after it was reported that the the duo enjoyed a pre-Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant in New York. 

Gwyneth and Chis decided to 'consciously uncouple' in March 2014 but that hasn't put a stop to the family get-togethers.

The exes met up for a cosy pre-Thanksgiving dinner with their children Apple, 11, and Moses, nine, and Gwyneth's mom Blythe Danner and brother Jake on Monday night.

Gwyneth and Chris' 'happy, relaxed family dinner' took place at the posh yet homey restaurant The Lion in New York City where the actress enjoyed a glass of white wine and the youngsters ate macaroni and cheese, E! News reported.

Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey celebrated with 30-plus guests at a formerly catered event.

Hugh Jackman sported the biggest grin as he held a platter of what appeared to be chicken or turkey legs.

In another tempting photo the former How I Met Your Mother star shared a close-up of the feast he and his family enjoyed while thanking his personal chef.
