A young schoolgirl who is going deaf had her wildest dream come true at the weekend when she was able to meet her idol Taylor Swift at her Sydney concert.

Jorja Hope, from Maitland NSW, was devastated two months ago when she found out she was losing her hearing, and her first words after her diagnosis were 'I won't be able to hear Taylor Swift sing'.

But thanks to a viral social media campaign by her twin sister Chloe, the 12-year-old was able to see Taylor in concert and even meet the pop sensation before she goes deaf.

On Saturday night Jorja, Chloe, and their mum Melissa were treated to the full package, having their hair and makeup done before being taken to the concert in a white stretch limo.

Speaking to Weekend Today the night after the show, Jorja described her meeting with her biggest hero.

'She's very, very amazing, and very pretty', the 12-year-old said.

Jorja said although she didn't get much time with her she bought the pop singer ugg boots, which Taylor got 'very excited about'.

The young schoolgirl told the program she had the time of her life at the concert spending the night singing and dancing with her sister and mum.

The twins' proud mum described the whole experience as 'wonderful'.

'The girls worked together and when they told me what they were going to do it was like... it's a very long shot,' Melissa Hope said.

'But they've both sort of worked hard on it and been amazing and I'm very proud of both of them.'

The young girl's journey began earlier this month when her sister Chloe took to Facebook to create the page Help Jorja Meet Taylor Swift in Sydney 2015.

It attracted thousands of people's attention and photos posted to the page show Jorja having the time of her life on Saturday night.

It may have been her last chance to see the singer live while she still has some of her hearing.

Jorja has battled from a young age with hearing problems and has already lost 45 decibels of hearing and has a hearing aid, the Maitland Mercury reports.

The 12-year-old was born premature and spent weeks in intensive care and has also had two set of grommets fitted in her ears to try to help.

But nothing has worked and although doctors have said it could be years before she completely loses her hearing Jorja wakes up every morning praying she can still hear, the newspaper reports.
