Beautiful work! My favorite is the DIY crate bookshelves. They remind me of building blocks from childhood. And I’m a sucker for color sorted books. Thanks for sharing!

Hi -
I just love your book. I am curious if you know where the wolf lamp is from on page 138 in the Kid’s Bedrooms Chapter. My son just loves wolves and I know he would adore this lamp. Thank you so much!!!!

Good evening!
We just moved to a new house a couple days ago and I’ve been feeling so overwhelmed and stressed, not knowing where on earth to start sorting everything out. I am vowing to never move again in my entire life.
I sat down this morning with a notepad, pen and your book. Now (at 9pm) I have just finished it. I could hardly put it down all day and I have several pages of scribbles and ideas for our new house that I can’t wait to discuss with my husband when I get home. And most of all, the feeling of stress and being overwhelmed has been replaced with finally feeling excited and inspired to get to work making this house a home for OUR family.
Thank you so much for the help and ideas!!

Hi – Love love your blog and the book!! I felt like you solved a big issue in our house with the recommendation for the roll up Japanese futon and was wondering if this was the kind of thing you use?
We have lots of guests especially with small kids and would love to add a few.
Many thanks! Nitasha
