She may have been facing allegations she is less than kind to her pets after posting a 'skinny' video of her pet pooch Bambi.

But that didn't stop Kylie Jenner from taking to Instagram to show off her latest outfit on Wednesday, wearing what looked like a pyjama inspired button through dress.

The 18-year-old pouted at the camera and struck a pose as she took her selfie.

She wore a mini Balenciaga bag draped over her arm, and appeared to be in her own home.

The star also posted another Snapchat video with her Italian Greyhound Bambi, possibly to alleviate concerns her pooch was not being looked after properly.

According to the The LA County Animal Control they had received complaints regarding her treatment of her pets.

Speaking to TMZ on Wednesday, while they would not say whether they had had more than one call, the body did reveal the concerns were to do with possible animal cruelty.

Kylie could be seen sitting on the bed with her dog, who looked than comfortable with her mistress.

She initially came under fire from fans after posting a video of Bambi where her ribs could clearly be seen.

The reality star was criticised over how she cares for her pets after the Snapchat, which also featured her other pooch Norman,

As Bambi, who was over excited to see her owner jumped up to say hi to Kylie, her skinny state caused comments from fans saying she looked malnourished.

One user criticised when she posted the video: 'Please feed your dogs or give them to a loving, attentive home that will. Those dogs are starving.'

Another said: 'I've had an Italian Greyhound as a puppy and despite its hyperactivity it had some skin covering [its] ribs. [There's] obviously a problem here that she needs to address.

A third user also said the dogs looked too thin saying: 'Kylie — this is sad. Even for you — suck up your pride and hear what everyone is saying before this becomes explosive.'

'Get the dog seen — and find a regimen to [make] them healthy again. This is wrong and you're in no place to dispute it.

However, the Italian Greyhound Club of America said the animals were healthy and added that when the dogs race they are even thinner than Bambi and Norman.

Experts with the club told TMZ the video Kylie posted of one of her pups was perfectly normal for the breed.

Another added: 'Kylie — this is sad. Even for you — suck up your pride and hear what everyone is saying before this becomes explosive'

And they confirmed the pooches are supposed to be lean, as they are bred to run.

A healthy Italian Greyhound should show a hint of 3 ribs and its hip bones.

The IGCA rep also added Bambi could have been taking a breath so she would have looked even thinner and have an exaggerated rib cage.
