Arsenal stars Olivier Giroud, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini join club legend Robert Pires on red carpet for the Global Gift Gala 

On the back of their disappointing draw with Norwich on Sunday, some of Arsenal's stars attended the Global Gift Gala in London on Monday night.

Oliver Giroud and Mathieu Flamini, who started at Carrow Road, were in attendance with injured Mikel Arteta and were joined by their wives.

Another familiar face was Gunners legend Robert Pires, who was also a guest at the star-studded event alongside his wife, Jessica.

The London gala, held on Monday, is one of six around the world to raise funds for the Global Gift Foundation.

The organisation helps vulnerable groups such as children and provides shelter, food and medical care from donations.

Actress Eva Longoria, who is honorary chairperson, hosted the glamorous event and was pictured arriving with David Beckham's wife Victoria.

The Global Gift Galas all feature entertainment by renowned music artists, a sit down dinner and live auction.

The Gunners earned a point at newly-promoted Norwich on Sunday, as they failed to capitalise on Manchester United and Leicester's draw at the King Power Stadium.

Arsene Wenger also suffered a major blow as star man Alexis Sanchez was forced off with a hamstring injury.
