James Corden belted out Wham's classic Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go alongside Carrie Underwood, as the singer joined him for the latest Carpool Karaoke segment.

The pair drove around Los Angeles and had a good old giggle as they filmed a skit for the Late Late Show.

Following on from previous guests such as Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber, James, 37, and Carrie, 32, sang Smoke Break, Jesus Take the Wheel, and Before He Cheats.

But there was more fun to be had when the pair drove to a cowboy store in order that James learned more about the country genre and pick himself up an outfit.

James tried on a pair of cowboy boots, a hat and a suede waistcoat, but he was left stunned when the clerk told him the waistcoat cost $2,000 and the boots were $800.

Despite Carrie's efforts in trying to talk him into buying the boots, her words fell on deaf ears and James bought the hat, which cost him $200 nonetheless.

Jumping back into the car, James challenged Carrie to a competition to see who could hold a note the longest, with James winning as the country singer got into fits of giggles.

'I feel like I'm making the most annoying sound in the world, from the movie Dumb and Dumber,' she giggled.

Billboard also reported that the British host talked to the singer about hockey, namely because her she is married to NHL-pro Mike Fisher.

According to the site, he then asked her if she was worried for her partner's safety on the ice.

Carrie responded: 'Did you see his latest fight?" she asked. 'He knocked a guy’s tooth out. Yeah, it was pretty hot.'
