'We are not friends at all': Kyle Richards sets the record straight on her relationship with RHOBH co-star Brandi Glanville

They've never been the best of gal pals.

But Kyle Richards, 46, wanted to be sure and clarify the status of her relationship with RHOBH regular, Brandi Glanville, 43.

'We are not friends at all,' Kyle told Entertainment Tonight at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Los Angeles on Friday.

'We didn't really have a foundation to begin with,' Kyle added. 'It's not like a friend you had a falling out with and you missed them, so there's no love lost there.' 

While the ladies have never been the best of friends since Brandi joined the cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, things got much much worse for the pair last season.

At the center of the controversy is Kyle's sister, Kim Richards, 51, who the ladies got into a physical altercation over during season five.

While the Richards sisters have been at odds over Kim's substance abuse and legal issues, Brandi has been a supportive friend and stuck by her side.

However Kyle has only seen that as a manipulation on Brandi's part to make her look insensitive and evil in the eyes of viewers.

For the first time, Kim has not returned for season six of the hit Bravo reality show and Kyle told Entertainment Tonight her experience with the change at the premiere party on Thursday night.

'It was really weird starting out without her because we started this together,' Kyle explained. 'It didn't feel good in the beginning but you know, the timing wasn't right.'

Kim won't be returning to the series after making headlines for her erratic behavior, arrests and struggles with addiction in recent months.

Additionally, she did her fourth stint in rehab in April, after she was arrested for public intoxication at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

And in August, she was arrested for allegedly shoplifting from Target in Van Nuys, California.
