'I think she's amazing!' Jared Leto changes his tune after saying he 'didn't  give a f*** about' Taylor Swift and her music

Jared Leto is trying to make sure he does not have Bad Blood with Taylor Swift after a video leaked of him sounding unimpressed by the hitmaker.

In a video obtained by TMZ on Monday, the star was listening to Taylor's 1989 album for hit inspiration and was heard saying: 'I don't give a f**k about her. It's whatever works best for us.'

The 43-year-old has now taken to social media to apologize and this time, only had praise for Taylor.

The Oscar winner apologized on Twitter a few hours after the video hit the internet: 'The truth is I think @taylorswift13 is amazing + an incredible example of what's possible. If I hurt her or her fans my sincerest apologies.'

Jared may have to make a phone call to the 25-year-old however, as while the video appears to be heavily edited, the rocker is not entirely flattering about Taylor's music.

Reportedly, the listening session took place months ago, with Jared and a fellow band member listening to Welcome To New York, Blank Space, and Style.

The Dallas Buyers Club star was dressed down for the session, sporting a green and red button down over a white graphic T-shirt.

He showed off his slicked-back short locks, dyed bright pink, and looked comfortable in fitted, black trousers.

He was quick to dismiss Welcome To New York as soon as it began playing, saying: 'Oh, I don't like this at all. Next.'

Jared seemed a bit more intrigued as he listened to Blank Space, saying it had 'a little Sia beat,' counting off as it began.

He said that he 'liked it,' going so far as admitting the he 'wants to steal that,' though he also compared it to 'Charli XX' - likely meaning Charli XCX.

He and his fellow Thirty Seconds To Mars bandmate seemingly suggested that Taylor had stolen the beat from her.

And then, facing the same confusion as many other fans of Blank Space, Jared mistook the lyrics 'a long list of ex lovers,' for 'Starbucks lovers.'

Finishing the listening party with Style, Jared called the single an 'interesting little pop song.'

The video then cuts to Jared and his peer discussing the CD, to which it seems the latter says: 'When you hear the Taylor Swift song, you don't hear that right. So maybe there's...'

But Jared seems completely unfazed as he quickly responds: 'I mean, f**k her. I don't give a f**k about her. It's whatever works best for us.'

However, the video does appear to be heavily edited as it jumps around a bit, and seeing as it was a listening session for inspiration, Jared was likely talking about the process as opposed to specifically having an issue with Taylor.

The pair have previously been spotted showing off smiles as they posed together at the MTV Video Music Awards in August - from which he shared a snap on his Instagram, calling the star 'super sweet' - and in January 2014 at a Golden Globes post-party.
