Gossip Girl joins the squad! Blake Lively spends fun-filled day with Taylor Swift at Australian theme park after actress was spotted at singer's concert 

It looks like Taylor Swift has added another famous face to her girl squad. 

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the 25-year-old Shake It Off hitmaker shared a snap of her and American actress Blake Lively, the pair enjoying a day out at Australia's Movie World theme park in Queensland. 

'Yesterday was such an amazing day off-- roller coasters, kangaroos and LOLs with @blakelively See you tonight, Adelaide!' Taylor captioned the social media image in which the pair are leaping in the air.

Both Taylor and Blake were dressed casually for a day of fun at the popular amusement park, located on the Gold Coast.

Showing off a glimpse of her taut torso, Taylor sported a white singlet top teamed with a pair of high-waisted black shirts.

Meanwhile Gossip Girl star Blake, 28, wore a light pink T-shirt and blue denim shorts, revealing her signature trim pins just like Taylor.

The pair's outing comes after Blake was spotted by fans at Taylor's Brisbane concert on Saturday night.

A Snapchat video and series of tweets from fans over the weekend suggested Blake, who was filming The Shallows in Queensland last month, was in the audience at Suncorp Stadium for Taylor's second Australian show during her 1989 World Tour.

A brief 10-second clip captured on the mobile phone application showed a blonde beauty, looking very much like Blake, chatting to a fan at the concert while Taylor sings her track I Wish You Would on stage.

Wearing a white singlet top and matching cap, Blake seemed to be doing her best to keep a low profile, though happily agreed to take a selfie with a fellow concert-goer.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Sunday, concert-goer Madison Philip said she saw this very woman at the concert, whom she believes is Blake.

'I saw her yes, she was in the B-Stage mosh pit with us. However she was in a separate barricade surrounded by security and friends and family,' Madison told DMA.

'She was wearing jeans and jacket and a cap with the letter A on it. She was just standing and smiling the whole time. I didn't see her dancing or singing. 

It seems security was tight around the wife of Ryan Reynolds, as Madison added: 'We weren't permitted near her so we couldn't talk to her. 

'She entered during the first few songs and we didn't even realise who it was till half way through the concert but you could tell there was someone important was there with all the security.

'She left during the encore and it was all very quick. No chance to stop her and talk or get a photo.' 

Meanwhile many fans expressed their excitement at the prospect of The Age Of Adaline star having been at the Brisbane show.

'When @blakelively is casually a few metres in front of you at @taylorswift13 concert last night x! UM WHAT (sic),' one fan wrote on Twitter. 

'So Blake Lively may or may not have been standing 5 meters away from me at the Brisbane Taylor Swift concert #holymoly #1989TourBrisbane,' another penned. 

Blake was previously spotted in Australia last month, where she enjoyed a relaxing getaway with husband Ryan and daughter James on Lord Howe Island.

Meanwhile Blake has made it no secret that she is a fan of Shake It Off hit-maker Taylor.

Taylor is currently in Australia wrapping up the final stretch of her 1989 World Tour.
