A family masterpiece! Zoe Saldana poses up with artist husband Marco Perego and their children next to giant collage painting

It was the perfect opportunity to create the perfect family masterpiece photograph.

And Zoe Saldana clearly grabbed the opportunity with both hands after she posted a picture on Sunday of herself and her adorable family next to a giant collage painting at a Los Angeles art event.

The 37-year-old Star Trek favourite and her artist husband  Marco Perego kneeled next to the massive artwork, while their cute children crawled around on it at the The Art of Elysium celebration earlier this week.

The dressed down Latina lovely looked in fine form indeed in a denim blouse, jeans and shoes.

And her Italian husband made sure they wer a matching pair by donning an almost identical ensemble for their big day out.

Their one-year-old twin sons Bowie and Cy meanwhile looked as cute as they come in their blue jackets, trousers and tiny shoes.

Deep thinker Zoe captioned the image: '"When I approach a child, he inspires in me two sentiments — tenderness for what he is and respect for what he may become." — Louis Pasteur.' Wise words indeed. 

The happy couple married back 2013 and took each other's surnames, with Zoe becoming Zoe Saldana-Perego Marco becoming Marco Perego-Saldana. They resisted the temptation to give each twin opposite versions of the same surname however, with each being named Perago-Saldana.

Life is certainly busy for Zoe at the moment. Along with working on the second Guardians Of The Galaxy film, she is currently filming the latest entry of the rebooted Star Trek series Beyond

She is also also reprising her role as the blue-skinned Neytiri in director James Cameron's Avatar 2, due out December 25, 2017.

Zoe, who shares twin one-year-old boys Bowie and Cy with her artist husband, has also committed to Avatar 3 and 4, all of which are in pre-production and will take her well into 2019.

Her love interest Sam Worthington and, surprisingly, Sigouney Weaver, whose scientist character was killed off in the first film, are also credited for all three sequels on IMDB.
