Dublin the fun! Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell land in Ireland to promote their new film Daddy's Home 

They became great friends after co-starring in The Other Guys.

Which is handy seeing as Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell will be spending a lot of time with each other promoting their upcoming movie, Daddy's Home.

And on Sunday evening the pair made their first long journey together, heading to Dublin for the Irish premiere.

Although the funnymen were no doubt tired from the 11-hour-flight, they still took the time to chat with fans and pose for photographs.

Will, 48, made the journey in comfort, wrapping up against the cold Irish air in a black jumper and jeans.

Whilst Mark, 44, also dressed down for the flight in a navy fleece and black tracksuit bottoms.

He kept low-key, shrouding his face beneath a black baseball cap.

And it seems he had a good reason to go incognito, as the star wanted to enjoy a round of golf in peace.

Before the Ted star had even checked into his hotel he asked to be taken to Portmarnock golf course, squeezing in a quick game.

The following morning, both men stopped outside the iconic Merrion Hotel to sign autographs for waiting fans.

The film sees Will take on the role of Brad, a sweet, mild-mannered man who becomes a stepdad to his new wife’s children.

But their perfect family unit is soon shattered when the kids’ biological father, special ops agent Danny played by Mark, comes back into the picture.

Brad and Dusty soon begin competing against each other to win over the childrens’ affections, resulting in some hysterical consequences.
