Fashion Designer Isaac Mizrahi, 54, has been slapped with a $70,000-plus lawsuit accusing him of screwing his former financial adviser out of money, Daily Mail Online has exclusively learned.
The accuser? A conman - the now infamous Kenneth Starr - who stole millions from his many celebrity clients.
Starr, 71, worked with everyone from Barbara Walters to Uma Thurman to Liam Neeson to Al Pacino and even millionaire heiress Rachel 'Bunny' Mellon.
But his $35 million Ponzi scheme was uncovered. In March 2011, he was charged with fraud and is now serving a seven and a half year sentence in a New York federal prison.

He was then forced into an involuntary bankruptcy and the trustee in the case, Robert Geltzer, has been attempting to collect the money from his various clients to pay back the creditors ever since.
Now court documents obtained by Daily Mail Online show that on November 25th - Geltzer filed a lawsuit against Mizrahi accusing him of owing Starr $70,669.63 for his services that were performed in 2010, prior to him being thrown in prison.
The suit states that Starr and Mizrahi had a professional relationship dating back to 1998.
The former financial adviser performed general accounting, preparing and filing tax returns, managing bank accounts, reviewing and analyzing monthly credit card statements and various other financial jobs for the designer and his companies, Xcel Brands, Inc. and IM Ready-Made, LLC.
According to the complaint, Starr had sent three invoices to Mizrahi during the year - one in April for $3,931.41, in May for $9,734.61 and again in June for $57,003.61.
The suit adds that the designer benefited from services performed by Starr and he needs to pay up.
However, he claims when he contacted Mizrahi's company they denied owing a dime to Starr and refused to pay any money to the trustee.
Geltzer is now requesting Mizrahi pay up for the unpaid invoice balances plus attorney fees.
Mizrahi presented his first collection in 1987 during a trunk show held by Bergdorf Goodman and it received raving reviews.
In 1992, the French fashion house Chanel bought a stake in his company and bankrolled Mizrahi's operation. He now has five labels under his name.
In addition to fashion, Mizrahi served as a judge on Project Runway All Stars. His estimated net worth is $20 million.
As for Starr, he is expected to be released from prison in December, 2016.
