He likes to keep his private life as quiet as possible.

But on Saturday night Charlie Hunnam was caught going out for the night with his girlfriend of eight years, Morgana McNelis, who he hardly ever takes to red carpet events and rarely discusses in interviews.

The Sons Of Anarchy star, 35, was dressed down as he followed the jewelry designer into a party thrown by producer Jennifer Klein in Hollywood.

The Crimson Peak star wore a grandpa style blue button-up sweater with pockets that matched nicely with his blue jeans.

Sneaker that had three shades of grey stood out. Charlie famously had to drop out of the film Fifty Shades Of Grey.

The native of England capped off his look with a blue hat that looks like it was borrowed from his friend, Brad Pitt.

Morgana showed off her chest with a lowcut black tank top that had a black cardigan over it and then a brown jacket on top for the fete presented Ketel One vodka.

Black slacks and boots were nondescript. but her hippie Aztec print woven purse stood out for being pure Boho.

She took had on a hat - hers was bigger and black. And the black tassel necklace looked as if it could be one of her own designs for Maison de Morgana.

Also at the party were Amy Adams, Chace Crawford, Tyra Banks, Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson, Nicole Scherzinger, Katharine McPhee and Elizabeth Olsen.

The two were last seen together in 2011 strolling through a Los Angeles mall.

In a 2013 interview, Charlie said that he and Morgana bought a ranch outside of Hollywood, adding, 'We've got 30 chickens and a couple of donkeys, a couple of ducks, and we've got a big, organic garden.'

In October the beauty spoke to Taylor Magazine about her Gothic inspired jewelry (she cites Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula as one of her inspirations).

The brunette also talked about what makes a relationship last.

This was four years ago: The couple were seen side by side in LA in September 2011

'I think the key to maintaining a good balance is creating a safe space within the relationship for both partners in which to grow and evolve,' she said.

'It’s very important to be present and participate in each other’s experiences so that falling in love doesn’t happen just once, it continues to happen over and over.'

Charlie was married to actress Katharine Towne, who is the daughter of screenwriter Robert Towne, in the late 1990s. He has also been linked to Sophie Dahl, Stella Parker, Georgina Townsly and Rashida Jones.
