Not in fighting shape! Josh Hutcherson covers up as he takes a drag from cigarette as it emerges Hunger Games franchise may have prequels

His fitness is a matter of live or death as the star of The Hunger Games.

But Josh Hutcherson was not exactly in fighting shape when he went for an incognito look in a green camouflage print jacket in New York City.

The 23-year-old also took a drag from a cigarette as he stood outside of ICAP, where he was participating in the company's fundraiser, Charity Day.

Josh added a rugged touch to his casual yet hip outfit with a pair of worn leather shoes.

The clean shaven actor looked relaxed as he mingled with his pals outdoors, where he pulled a female pal in for an embrace.

Though Josh was indulging in a rather unhealthy habit, he used his talents for good that same day.

Josh was just one of numerous celebrities to do their bit and help fundraise for ICAP's Charity Day, which sees all revenue and commissions donated to charity.

Meanwhile, Josh's latest film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 hit theatres last month.

The movie versions of Suzanne Collins' trilogy of novels have been extremely lucrative for Lionsgate, even though the recently released Mockingjay - Part 2 didn't perform as well as had been expected.

The film opened with a little over $100 million in its opening weekend, which was less than the previous installments grossed, but has still earned more than $500 million globally so far.

The Hunger Games released in 2012 made a global star of actress Jennifer Lawrence who won the role of Katniss Everdeen.

Jennifer along with Liam Hemsworth and Josh won an immense fan following that kept the franchise secure through 2013's Catching Fire and 2014's Mockingjay - Part 1 and this year's Mockingjay - Part 2.

Lionsgate revealed Tuesday it's exploring the possibilities for taking the story 'backwards' to before Katniss Everdeen was assigned to the 74th combat competition.

Variety reported that the studio's Vice Chairman Michael Burns said fans missed the arena action of the first two films in the two Mockingjay sequels and 'if we went backwards, there obviously would be arenas.'

Burns also stated, during a global media conference in New York, that The Hunger Games franchise 'will live on and on.'
