Her TOWIE co-star Ferne McCann may have been roughing it in the jungle, but Lydia Bright was having a glorious old time on a nearby beach in Australia last week.

The 25-year-old capitalised on the opportunity of some sun and sand when she stripped down to her swimwear following a fleeting appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here's spin-off show.

The reality star proudly paraded her toned curves in a scuba swimsuit as she frolicked in the sea all by herself, and clearly loving life in the sun.

Having come halfway across the world to support her friend, there was clearly no better way to spent her down time than to hit the beach.

She would be staying for only a brief time, so instead of pitying her friend in the Australian outback, Lydia organised a photoshoot to show off the bikini body she's spent all year honing.

Lydia was captured running in and out of the sea with reckless abandon, revealing her peachy derriere while swinging her arms.

The bodyglove swimsuit hugged to her firm curves and was provocatively unzipped in the front to reveal her cleavage.

The Seafolly design served to emphasise her hourglass shape with its strategic black and white panels.

And even though Lydia wasn't the one suffering in the jungle she still enjoyed her 'Myleene moment' by plunging into the waves and getting her tresses gloriously sea-salt-curled.

Despite her last minute bid for winter sun, Lydia will be back in Essex for Christmas and New Year with boyfriend James Argent.

Opening up recently about her plans for 2016, Lydia said she had intentions to return to ITVBe's The Only Way Is Essex, which kick-started her career back in 2010.

'I am staying on it!' she told The Daily Star. 'I’m committed to it until 2017 and I really enjoy myself. I’m very close with my on-screen friends outside of filming.

'I’ve been friends with people like Georgia Kousloulou, Tommy Mallet and Chloe Lewis for a long time. Opportunities come up and sometimes it’s the right decision to go, but right now there’s nothing pushing me to leave.'
