The new Adele Dazeem? Dennis Quaid flubs Saoirse Ronan's name during Golden Globes nominations by accidentally calling her 'Sheesha'

John Travolta was widely mocked after infamously mispronouncing singer Idina Menzel's name during her Oscar's introduction in 2014.

And on Thursday it seems Dennis Quaid accidentally joined his ranks, as the 61-year-old flubbed the pronunciation of actress Saoirse Ronan's name during Golden Globes announcements.

While announcing her nomination in the category for Best Actress in a Drama for Brooklyn, he read 'Sheesha,' as opposed to the correct pronunciation, which she explains is: 'Sir-sha, like inertia.'

Dennis seemed confident as he began listing off Saoirse's fellow nominees - Cate Blanchett (Carol), Brie Larson (Room), and Rooney Mara (Carol) - though he appeared flustered by her name.

He looked unsure - and rightly so - as he pronounced the Irish star's name as 'Sheesha,' before moving on to read off the name of the final nominee in that category, Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl).

The internet, of course, responded swiftly, with one Twitter user posting: 'Really excited about Sheesha Ronan and Adele Dazeem's upcoming Netflix series. #GoldenGlobes,' referring to John's famous gaffe as well.

Unforgettable: At the 2014 Academy Awards, John Travolta made quite the gaffe as he pronounced the 'wickedly talented' Idina Menzel's name as 'Adele Dazeem'

Another suggested a bit of solidarity for the pair, tweeting: 'Sheesha Ronan should hang out with Adele Dazeem.'

Meanwhile, a third called attention to another famous awards show gaffe, tweeting: 'Sheesha Ronan is today's Dick Poop. But I will never forget. #GoldenGlobes.'

Before Thursday, the most famous flub was likely John's bizarre mispronunciation of Idina's name as he introduced her performance of Let It Go at the 2014 Oscars.

Payback: The following year the songstress introduced him as her 'very dear friend Glom Gazingo' in response to his curious slip-up as they took to the stage to announce the winner for Best Original Song

After introducing the song - from Disney's Frozen - John continued: 'Please welcome the wickedly talented, one and only Adele Dazeem.'

The curious introduction went viral on Twitter, and was such a talking point from the show's broadcast that the following year the two stars reunited to poke fun at the mishap as they presented the award for Best Original Song.

Idina got up on stage first and told the audience that she would like to introduce her 'very dear friend Glom Gazingo' as Travolta walked out on stage. 'I deserve that,' he quipped.

And earlier that year, as the 2015 Oscar nominees were being announced, Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs made her own flub.

While announcing the nominees for Cinematography, she accidentally recognized 'Dick Poop' for the film Mr. Turner.

Of course, the credit actually goes to Dick Pope, which provided quite a few laughs for viewers at home - it even seemed as if the Academy President herself almost lost her cool before continuing on with reading the nominees.

After the announcement Empire Magazine jokingly tweeted: 'We're looking forward to Dick Poop teaming up with Adele Dazeem to host next year's ceremony.'

The 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards - hosted by Ricky Gervais - will air January 10 on NBC.
