She wears her Sunglasses At Night! Lady Gaga touches down at JFK airport wearing white suit with plunging neckline and a pair of shades

She is usually known for her flamboyant style wherever she goes.

And while Lady Gaga didn't take her usual walk on the wild side when she arrived at JFK airport on Wednesday, she certainly didn't disappoint with her runway ready ensemble.

The singer wore a white suit featuring a plunging neckline as she strolled through arrivals.

She wore her blonde locks pulled off her face in an elegant chignon.

And as any popstar worth their salt would do, she had a pair of sunglasses on despite the late hour.

The 29-year-old star finished her look with a slick of peachy lip gloss.

Gaga  seemed to be struggling to raise a smile - she had no need to look glum as she has just been nominated for a Grammy.

She received the nod for Til It Happens To You, which she wrote alongside Diane Warren for documentary The Hunting Ground, about campus rape.

The singer, who is up for Best Song Written For Visual Media, shared her gratitude by posting a selfie to Instagram, with her hand on her chest.

'Thank you fans and The Grammys for nominating my song "Til It Happens You You" for a Grammy!' she wrote. 'Me and My co-writer Diane Warren are so honored and proud to be a part a movement that empowers rape victims into survivors.'

She was also recently named Billboard's Woman Of The Year but  revealed she came very close to not being eligible as she almost gave everything up.

Gaga told the magazine she started to feel trapped by her career and fame in 2014 and came close to quitting.

She said: 'At the end of 2014, my stylist asked, ''Do you even want to be a pop star anymore?'' I looked at him and I go, ''You know, if I could just stop this train right now, today, I would. I just can't. [But] I need to get off now because I'm going to die.'''

The ride that is being Lady Gaga was clearly becoming too much for the woman who says she 'craves normalcy' despite living in what she calls 'the theatre of the absurd'.

'When you're going so fast you don't feel safe anymore, you feel like you're being slapped around and you can't think straight. But then I felt hands lifting me. It was like everybody came together to try and put a star back in the sky, and they weren't going to let me down.'
