They aren't getting The Leftovers! Liv Tylers gets some gourmet food treats in for her family as she shops in New York

She's a busy mum on the run.

So Liv Tyler cut some corners when it came to getting in some gourmet treats for dinner  and stopped off to buy them from a nearby eatery.

The 38-year-old star was wrapped up against the cold as she did her shopping run in New York on Wednesday.

Liv wore a dogtooth patterned coat which she teamed with a bobble hat.

The star wore her brown locks down and went for a minimal make-up look.

She kept out the winter chill with what looked like a cosy pair of tracksuit pants and wore a pair of black flat pumps.

The Leftovers actress was no doubt getting in the feast for her two boys, Milo, 10, and 10-month old Sailor Gene, as well as her fiance Dave Gardner.

She revealed on Jimmy Kimmel recently that her father cut Sailor's umbilical cord when he was born in February.

She told the host her partner was stuck on a plane when her son decided to make an unplanned entrance into the world.

Explaining the tot's unusual name, Liv revealed that 'it took a minute to figure out what his name was going to be but one of my favourite movie's is Wild At Heart, the David Lynch movie, and the characters are Sailor and Lula.'

Sailor's arrival came as a surprise as the actress revealed her second son made his entrance six weeks early, but luckily she had some family support.

'David, my fiance was travelling for work so he was on a plane and couldn't get there. So I called my sister and she came right away and she called my dad and said "Dad, Liv's in labour" so he just walked out of his house in Nashville and he just walked in just before everything happened.'

'It was crazy because I never in a million years thought I would give birth with my dad and my sister there, it was actually very sweet because we were laughing a lot,' she told Jimmy.

Liv and British sports manager Dave, who have been together since 2012, recently confirmed their engagement,with Liv showing off her huge diamond sparkler during her Kimmel interview. 

David also has an eight year old son Gray, from a previous relationship with Davinia Taylor.
